Wedding | Emily+Bradley

Emily and Bradley’s wedding day was a picture perfect day (see what I did there!? ha)

I first met Emily 12 years ago when we were freshmen in college at OSU. We were both in the Freshmen in Transition program and thankfully so. I knew Emily through FIT, but I got to know Emily really well when she helped me pass AGEC 1114. (It was hard.)

A few weeks ago, Wild Honey Wedding+Events contacted me to see if I was free on 9.15.18 and said they had a bride that needed a photographer. I said yes and sent her my information before ever knowing that bride was indeed Emily. I saw Stacy a couple of weeks later and she told me that the bride knew me and said we lived together our freshmen year … and I can’t tell you how excited I was when I realized Emily was the bride.

When I met with Emily and her soon-to-be husband for their consultation at Aspen Coffee, I started remembering just how wonderful Emily is and I vaguely remember seeing Bradley around the dorms, as he lived in the Village next to ours.

These two were so easy to work with. Literally everything was “great” to them and they were up for anything. The day was so laid-back and relaxed and I really felt like I was just hanging out with old friends (which I kind of was.) Emily’s maid of honor was also in FIT and getting to catch up with Heather was just an added bonus of the day.

The ceremony took place at the new (and quite beautiful) St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stillwater followed by the reception at Mediations Events Center. We ate breakfast food for dinner, danced and ate cake (which we all know is the reason I am a wedding photographer! haha just kidding!)

I met up with Emily and Bradley the next day at the OSU Botanical Gardens for a “day after” session that included their pups and it was magical. I love any session with doggies and this one was no exception.

I am so thankful for another beautiful wedding, a wonderful couple, very helpful bridesmaids and groomsmen and two kind families. It is always a pleasure.

Now scroll down to see a few of my favorites!
