Do you dread family photos every year? Well, don’t!! They are meant to be FUN! And, that is exactly the experience I try to create for you and your family. Wether you want an extended family session with all the cousins or an intimate session with just your kids and dogs, I want to capture the moments that this season of life brings and all the joy and smiles that comes with it.
Two steps to make it fun:
Pick a location that you LOVE!
Do you want to do something with your beloved Herford calves? Count me in! Do you want to go to your favorite spot at the botanical gardens? Perfect! Do you want to include your dogs, horses and maybe a chicken or two? I couldn’t be more excited! My number 1 advice (especially if you are including pets or tiny children) is to find a place that THEY are familiar with. That alone can eliminate stress and wonderment that a totally new space brings to the table!!
COMFORTABLE CLOTHES!
When you feel good you look good and the best way to insure that is to pick clothes that you are comfortable in (this includes shoes!) Yes it is important for the clothes to match the location, but if your husband is wearing a suit jacket when he normally wears a t-shirt or you are in heels when you are typically in sandals then you are adding more stress to yourself and that alone can lead you to be thinking more about your outfit and pose than a natural smile.
And honestly… that in itself is the main things to keep family photos enjoyable for all parties… I can take care of the rest! ;)
