Thank you for stopping by! My name is Brenna and I am the owner behind B.Davis Photography. I started this adventure as a joke (read below), but over the years it has turned into my true passion and much more than what I could have ever thought. This last year I have shifted my focus to capturing the lifestyle that I live everyday and have enjoyed the other farm, western and rural couples and families I have met this last year.

In addition to being a photographer, I am a wife, dog mom and owner of Frilly Farm Cattle Co. I quite enjoy visiting those rural towns during sessions or weddings and you can guarantee I have researched any and all antique stores between my house and there.

“B.Davis Photography all started as a joke.”

As an agricultural communications student at Oklahoma State University, photography is a required course. When we finished our weekly assignment, we had to drop our files into a folder on the shared network. I jokingly changed my folder name to "B.Davis Photography" and it stuck. From that point on, my name to most people became B.Davis instead of Brenna. Even my boss on the other side of campus started calling me B.Davis. My career path since college has taken me several different places, but I am finally on a path that I love with a wonderful part-time job at Oklahoma State University and run my photography business in (all) my spare time.

I come from a family of entrepreneurs and when I was little I always dreamed of running my own business. My big, big dream is to own an agritourism business where I employ adults with disabilities. I hope it will be a little bit of everything--a party barn, bakery, lavender field, pumpkin patch, miniature farm animals petting farm, etc. But, for now I am working on a little dream called Frilly Farm Cattle Co. and photography, of course!

Other than being a photographer and  farm wife (and big dreamer), I am a jewelry hoarder, (helicopter) dog mom to two of the sweetest doggos, donut connoisseur and flea market/craft show fan. I love vintage trailers and VW Vans, have an obsession with turquoise and light pink and probably rearrange some room of my house once a week. (Sorry, husband.) I love taking pictures of anything and everything on the farm… after all that is where my love for photography started. My husband will tell you that I am an avid crafter. There is always something going on in the kitchen and it normally has nothing to do with food. I love DIY projects and someday I would love to be a more consistent blogger on my personal website. A few years ago, I also achieved one of my lesser known goals of becoming a notary public. So, if you need wedding photos or anything notarized… I am your gal!

Dally Dog Long— my oldest assistant. From the very beginning of her employment, she hasn’t missed an editing session. She is always down for a trip to the coffee shop and has even attended two bridal meetings. She doesn’t need much entertainment, so I can always count on her to be ready for a nap when I need to edit.

Dot June is the newest employee. She get us distracted easily with her silly antics, but you can always count on her for a good laugh. Gift giving is her love language, resulting in a nice collection of rocks and sticks for mom. She is always down for a trip to check the cows or a quick walk to shoot photos of the new cows on the block.

My momma. My right hand lady. The bag carrier and shooter of the groom first looks down the aisle. In addition to doing all the wedding day things, she is also my biggest cheerleader. I can always count on her to like my social media post and read my blogs! She also keeps things grammatical correct when my post need a little extra help.
