It has been a while since I headed to downtown OKC for an egamgent session. However, when I arrived at that first location— I panicked.
It was a beautiful day and one of the first warm weather days we had had in Oklahoma since last fall. People were out and about which not only meant we would be working around a lot of people in the backgrounds, etc., but parking. There was virtually none. I arrived quite a bit early for the session and spent 20 minutes trying to find something and I didn’t want Preston and Bonnie to have the same panic I was feeling, so we called an audible and moved locations to the OKC Farmers Market area.
And, it was a great call.
Not only was their plenty of parking…. we also had the place to ourselves (almost)!
We started in from of the building and made our way around the block, down nearby alley ways, found an old stash of random junk and eventually made our way back to the front of the building for a few photos with a new cowhide I recently acquired.
All in all what started out to be Brenna shear panicking and turning down the volume of my radio so I can see better in downtown OKC ended up being the best thing that could have happened.
Bonnie and Preston will be married laster this month at Darlington Chapel and I. CAN’T. WAIT. to share the beautiful photos that I am already envisioning of their day!
