It was a chilly January day when Jodi first told me that she wanted to include her horses in her bridal session.
Okay, I am just kidding. I don’t remember when Jodi told me of her idea, but I was 100% down for it the minute she said it. And, honestly… I have been thinking about it ever since.
Except when bridal session day finally came for it was HOT. Like super hot… quite a change from the engagement session we experience on a veeeeeery chilly February day (now that one I remember like it was yesterday! You can click here if you want to see actual freezing fog in their photos! haha)
Jodi and I work together at the NPDC and I am so thankful that we have became friends over this last year. We talked through just about ever detail of their wedding day, which made it so fun for me to photograph knowing all the ins and outs and all the special touches! I feel extra thankful to have spent time with her on her wedding day and finishing her sentences and sweaty hugs when tears popped up!
Jodi, pal, you were the best kind of bride. Easy going, detailed and so much fun. If I said I didn’t tear up during the day, that would be a lie because I am so incredibly happy for you and Bryan as you start a new journey together. And, I am happy I get to cheer you on in whatever adventure you guys find.
