I feel like I have known MaKayla for a while now, but the truth is I just officially met her last week.
I worked with her mom at my former employer and met one of her little sisters during her high school senior session last year. And, after also meeting MaKayla's grandma last week I can honestly say ... this family is so much fun to be around.
The day we met to take senior photos was also MaKayla's 22nd birthday (hence why I left campus with the Taylor Swift song stuck in my head.)
MaKayla will graduate with her bachelors in Human Development and Family Science from Oklahoma State University in May and will head to Lubbock after graduation where she plans to study Couple, Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University.
She said it will probably take some real convincing to get her in red, but that she could handle the black.
My seniors are always such smartie pants!
Congratulations MaKayla on degree #1! Can't wait to see what your future holds!
