It is a little hard to believe, but Kevin and Ravon have been married for two years TODAY!
I first met these two in November 2015 for their engagement session. (Also, the first time I got to meet Mr. Beckett!) We found the most beautiful light in one of the most random locations in Minco. We then made our way out to another one of my go to locations. I instructed Kevin how to stand and when I told Ravon what to do, she literally looked at me like I was crazy. I told her to trust me because this will probably be one of her most favorite photos from the day-- and I was right. Every session we try to recreate it and we just can't.
Their wedding day was beautiful. It was a little windy (okay ... a lot windy), but the weather and wind really didn't matter. I have been to a lot of weddings in my day and this one was one of my favorites. They decided to do a first look and because the wedding was in Gotebo, Okla., and the roads are not super busy, we did it right in the middle of the street.
We used the wall of the old laundry mat for a cool portrait background and behind the cake table was the perfect backdrop for everything else.
I have had some fun times with these two (and Beckett, too) and I am so thankful that a mutual friend introduced us those few years ago.
Today, the Ellis' are about to move into a new home-- which has been dubbed "Beckett's Home," of course!
Happy Second Anniversary, Kevin and Ravon.
Thanks for all the memories!
Here is a little peak at Mr. Beckett! Isn't he the cutest!?
